POSITION: PHYSICIAN, INTERVENTIONAL/THERAPEUTIC GASTROENTEROLOGIST

In this employed opportunity you will join a world class Medical Center. You will provide the full range of GI services including all aspects of diagnostic/therapeutic upper and lower endoscopy, ERCP, endoscopic ultrasound (minimum of 200 performed), radiofrequency ablation/endoscopic mucosal resection and double or single balloon enteroscopy. With a newly renovated state-of-the-art endoscopy suite, duties include caring for outpatients and inpatients on site at our hospital location and the affiliated ambulatory surgical center.

The role will also have significant opportunity for professional development as Medical Center continues to develop its newly created Center for Excellence. In this capacity, you will work directly with our Medical Director and team of gastroenterologists to support Medical Center's vision to expand the GI program and provide needed care to our community.

In addition, as part of an exciting new affiliation with a nationally recognized health system, the candidate will be eligible for a faculty appointment at a prestigious School of Medicine and will serve as a liaison with this facility for clinical and educational activities. Moreover, as the part of the clinical affiliation with center , the role has significant opportunity for joint leadership, including in the development and implementation of common care pathways, etc.
