Gastro NP needed in Northern CA

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm (8‑hour shifts)
Assignment Type: Full‑time

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Gastroenterology or Integrative Health Nurse Practitioner to join a collaborative outpatient team within an Integrative Health Institute. This is a full‑time, weekday clinic position with no nights, weekends, or call.
The NP will work closely with one Gastroenterology physician and function independently in managing patient evaluations, treatment plans, and follow‑up care.

Role Responsibilities

Conduct patient intakes and perform complete histories
Manage evaluations, referrals, and treatment plans
Assist with prescriptions and ongoing patient management
Interpret tests, procedures, and radiographic studies
Collaborate with the GI physician and clinical team as needed
Provide high‑quality care to adult patients
See approximately 10–12 patients per day


Practice Details

Setting: Outpatient clinic – Integrative Health Institute
Support Staff:

1 Gastroenterology MD
Additional APPs on the floor (not directly working in GI)


EMR: Epic
Coverage Need: Full‑time, Monday–Friday


Requirements

Active Board Certification (NP)
Active California state license
DEA required
BLS certification
Minimum 2 years of experience in Gastroenterology or Integrative Health
Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
Ability to practice independently in a fast‑paced outpatient environment
Credentialing timeframe: 30–45 days
