Facility in Phoenix, AZ seeking Endocrinology Locums coverage
Rates: $270/hr
Specialty: Endocrinology
Reason for Coverage: A physician left the practice in May, and another provider is going on leave.
Coverage Details:
Dates of Coverage: August ongoing
Orientation: Consists of EMR training (Cerner)
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Setting: Outpatient
Duties:
Consults
Manage inbox/results review for physicians who are not in the office
Seeing both new consults and follow-ups
Patient Volume:
Patients/Day: 10-16
Support Staff: 1:1 ratio MA/MD
Required Procedures: None
Thyroid Biopsies: Not required
Telehealth:
Telehealth accepted in addition to on-site coverage
Credentialing:
Credentialing Timeframe: 30 days
Emergency Credentialing: Yes, expedited credentialing available
Requirements: DEA, Arizona License, BLS
Dealbreakers:
Must have an Arizona License established
FTE:
1.0 (Open to part-time as well; preference for one provider for either part-time or full-time)
Potential On-Call:
Potential after-hours/weekend call rotation with 3 other providers for ambulatory clinic patients only (confirmation pending)
