Job description

We are seeking Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Emergency Medicine Physicians to provide exceptional care across multiple facilities in Tennessee. Providers may credential at one or more locations within the hospital system, though this is not required.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality emergency care, including:
General EM procedures (intubation, chest tubes, central lines).
Hands-on management of patients with a variety of conditions.
Respond to codes and collaborate with hospitalists when required.
Utilize site-specific EMR systems (Cerner or MedHost) for documentation and care coordination.
Facility and Program Details:

Facilities spread across Tennessee, each with varying patient volumes (16K–37K annually).
Shift coverage:
Day and night shifts available (specific hours vary by facility).
Flexible schedules, with some providers offering 12-hour or 10-hour shifts depending on the site.
No trauma designations; most trauma cases are transferred to specialized centers.
Support varies by location, including APC and scribe coverage.
Credentialing:
Providers may credential at multiple locations (not required).
Emergency privileges available for providers with clean files.
Credentialing timelines vary, but can be expedited.
Qualifications:

Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in EM, FM, or IM (with prior ER experience for FM/IM candidates).
Current certifications required: ACLS, ATLS, PALS (must be current with no grace period).
COVID vaccination or valid exemption (required at most facilities).
Schedule & Contract Details:

Flexible scheduling for day and night shifts.
Long-term assignments (6+ months) with options for extended contracts.
