Locums Emergency Medicine Physician Opportunities – Florida

Job description

Aya Locums is seeking PRN Emergency Medicine physicians to provide flexible coverage at two Florida facilities. These are an excellent opportunity for providers looking to pick up shifts based on their availability, with both day and night shifts offered throughout the assignment.

Assignment Details
-PRN schedule with flexible shift selection
-Day and night shifts available
-On-site coverage in a single-physician emergency department
-Weekend and holiday coverage opportunities available
-Duration of assignment: Ongoing

Requirements
-ABEM certification required for physicians working at the main hospital
-Active Florida medical license

Alternative Qualifications
-Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or General Surgery physicians may be considered for non-Emergency Medicine privileges if they meet all of the following:
-Active emergency department practice representing at least 70% of clinical time within the past 24 months
-Recent experience in an emergency department with at least 10,000 annual patient visits
-Ability to provide the most recent two years of emergency medicine case logs

Credentialing
-Emergency privileges may be available, pending facility approval
