Opportunity Highlights:
• High-acuity, 65,000+ visit Emergency Department
• Consistent 8–12 shifts per month with ongoing need
• Strong specialty backup at a tertiary care STEMI and stroke center

Opportunity Details:
• Location: California
• Start: July 2026
• Schedule: 10-hour shifts (mix of days, evenings, and overnights)
• Coverage: 8–12 shifts per month
• Setting: Main Emergency Department

Work Details:
• Patient Volume: ~2 patients per hour
• Annual ED Volume: ~65,000 visits
• Patient Population: All ages with strong pediatric and critical care exposure
• Staffing Model: Physicians cover main ED, APPs manage fast track (7a–2a)
• Overnight Coverage: Single physician coverage from 2a–7a with overlap during peak hours

Requirements:
• ABEM Board Certified or Board Eligible (must be in good standing)
• Active California license required
• Strong experience in pediatrics and critical care required
• Clean background required (no issues)
