Emergency Medicine NP/PA Needed – Lovington, NM
Start Date: September 7, 2026 (or as soon as credentialed)
Contract Length: 3 months with extension potential
Schedule
3x12-hour blocked shifts per week
11:00 AM–11:00 PM
Sunday–Tuesday or Wednesday–Friday
Practice Details
Full-time coverage
Approximately 5–20 patients per 12-hour shift (32–45 patients per 24 hours)
Adult and pediatric emergency medicine with medical and trauma cases, including occasional oncology patients
ESI Levels 3, 4, and 5
APPs admit patients and coordinate care with the hospitalist (no inpatient rounding)
Epic EMR
Support includes 4 RNs, a Nurse Supervisor, a physician, a unit clerk, lab, and radiology services
Procedures
Suturing
Wound care and other minor procedures
Rare occasional intubation
Requirements
Board Certified NP or PA
NP certifications accepted: FNP, ACNP, or ENP
Active New Mexico license
DEA and CSR required prior to start
BLS, ACLS, and PALS required
ATLS preferred (may obtain after starting)
Minimum 1–2 years of Emergency Medicine experience
Orientation
Completed during the first two shifts, including HR onboarding, Epic training, and unit orientation.
Credentialing Timeframe: Approximately 60 days
