Dermatologist - Outpatient Locums | Lighthouse Point, FL | 2 Days/Week, No Call, Local Only

Job description

Start: September 28, 2026 (or sooner if credentialed)
Length: Ongoing (open to 3- or 6-month assignment with option to extend)
Coverage: Outpatient clinic, 2 days per week ongoing, with potential for an occasional third day
Schedule: Mondays and Tuesdays, 6:30-14:00; possible Thursdays as the assignment progresses
Call: No call
Volume: Average 20 patients per day (established patients with new patients added weekly)
Patient Population: Pediatric to geriatric, majority middle-aged to elderly
Practice Setting: Outpatient clinic / private practice
Procedures: General dermatology, cryosurgery, biopsies, excisions, ED&C

General dermatology evaluations and treatment for a mixed-age outpatient panel
Office-based procedures including cryosurgery (approximately 80% of procedural volume), biopsies, excisions, and ED&C
Mohs cases referred out - no Mohs experience required
Medical assistant provides scribe support and note-taking assistance; provider performs most tasks independently
Documentation via paper charts
Currently one exam room, relocating to a two-exam-room location nearby

Requirements
Active Florida license required (no licensing assistance offered)
Board Certification preferred but not required
BLS required
DEA not required
Open to new graduates
Local candidates only - no travel
Must be eligible for Medicare enrollment (no background issues preventing enrollment)
Credentialing timeframe: 30-45 days using Q6 modifier; already enrolled in payers

6:30-14:00 shifts, 2 days per week
Mondays and Tuesdays, with occasional Thursdays possible
No call
