EAC Network, a leading not-for-profit social service agency dedicated to helping over 80,000 people through 100 impactful programs across Long Island and NYC, is looking for a dedicated full time Program Director to join our Manhattan Mental Health Court position.
Salary: $76,364 per year
Schedule: Monday- Friday: 9AM-5PM
Location: 175 Remsen Street in Brooklyn. This role will also appear at the Manhattan Mental Health Court located at 100 Centre Street in New York.
What drives the core purpose of this job:
The Program Director is responsible for implementation, supervision, problem solving and day-to-day operations of the program and staff of Manhattan Mental health Court.
What are the key Responsibilities:
Ensure program compliance with contract requirements and provide supervision to staff.
Supervise all aspects of intake, admission and exit processes for prospective and current clients.
Provide crises intervention, supportive counseling and advocacy services.
Identify new program resources and implement viable linkages with other service systems to expand and improve services for the clients and address gaps in service.
Develop and maintain working relationships with the community and stakeholders to support program development and implementation.
Make timely site visits to partner programs and service providers to insure adequate services are being provided.
Develop measurement systems and maintain reliable data on program activity and evaluates outcomes.
Assist in staff recruitment and retention.
Supervise volunteers, internship and externship efforts.
Develop and oversee program policies and procedures.
Prepare for and participate in program audits.
Oversee monthly and annual statistical data and submit all required reports to funders.
Represent agency and program at weekly case conferences, meetings and events.
Complete and conduct Employee Performance Review meetings with staff and coordinate in-service trainings.
Attend and participate in relevant continuing education required by credential held.
Customarily and regularly exercises discretionary powers
Carry a limited caseload, if needed. Assist Clinical Director with clinical assessments, when needed.
Perform all other relevant duties as determined by Supervision and EAC NETWORK Administration.

What key knowledge, skills, and abilities are required to excel in this role:
Must be Licensed: LMSW, LCSW or a LMHC with 2 years of experience post licensure (This is required)
Must have knowledge of resources for those living with mental illness and the ability to work cooperatively with treatment, mental health and criminal justice systems.
Must have supervisory experience.
Excellent communication and data management skills.
Must be proficient in computer applications or other automated systems such as spreadsheets, Microsoft Office applications, calendar, and email and/or database software necessary to perform work assignments.
