About the clinician's workday

The Licensed Clinical Social Worker will perform psychosocial and psychiatric assessments for pediatric patients presenting through the emergency department during full-time day shifts, working 8-10 hours per day, 40 hours per week. The clinician will serve a patient population that includes children as young as 4 years old and must hold an active Connecticut license prior to the start of the assignment. Previous emergency department experience is required for this position. The clinician will function within a multidisciplinary team environment, collaborating with ED staff to support clinical assessment and intervention as needed.
