Mental Health Therapist | Full-Time & Part-Time | In-Person — San Antonio, TX
Job description
We're looking for a licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our care team in person at our San Antonio, TX office. In this role, you'll provide therapy to a diverse caseload of clients, maintain thorough clinical documentation, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team on site. Bilingual (English/Spanish) candidates are strongly preferred, as we serve a diverse client population and language access remains a priority for us.
We have openings for both Full-Time and Part-Time positions.
Location & Availability
This is an in-person position based at our San Antonio, TX office. (Helen's Project also delivers care via HIPAA-compliant telehealth, so this is a blended in-person/telehealth environment.)
Full-Time W-2: Minimum 32 available clinical hours per week
Part-Time W-2: Minimum 20 available clinical hours per week
Flex W-2: Minimum 16 available clinical hours per week
Scheduling is managed through our Front Desk/Reception Department. Employees are expected to maintain consistent, reliable availability and submit their schedules through our approved systems.
What You'll Do
Provide individual, couples, family, and/or group therapy on site at our San Antonio office (and via our HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform as needed)
Conduct clinical assessments and develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans
Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as clinically appropriate
Complete all session notes and clinical documentation within 48 hours of each session
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support continuity of care
Support clients through anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, life transitions, and more
Adhere to all ethical guidelines, licensing board requirements, and state-specific regulations
Participate in supervision (if applicable), staff meetings, and ongoing professional development
What We're Looking For
Active, unrestricted clinical license in Texas (e.g., LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or equivalent)
Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred
Able to work in person at our San Antonio, TX office in a HIPAA-compliant environment
Strong documentation habits and commitment to timely recordkeeping
Passion for our mission and the populations we serve
Associate/provisionally licensed clinicians are welcome to apply — free clinical supervision is provided as a benefit of employment (subject to supervisor availability and organizational standards)
Compensation & Benefits
Compensation: Per completed session rate (discussed upon offer)
No-shows are not compensated
Employment Type: W-2 (Full-Time, Part-Time, or Flex)

Pre-Employment Requirements
All offers are contingent upon successful completion of a background check, credential verification, and onboarding orientation. A mandatory one-week onboarding training is required prior to beginning client-facing duties. No client-facing work may begin until full onboarding clearance is granted by Human Resources.
