Cardiology Physician – Locums (Hospital-Based Focus)

Job description

We are seeking a licensed Cardiologist for locum tenens coverage in WA to support a gap in coverage. This role is primarily hospital-based with a blend of inpatient and outpatient responsibilities.

⚠️ Washington license and DEA must be in hand due to expedited credentialing.

Setting: Inpatient & Outpatient

Privileges: Hospital and Clinic

Call: Yes — approximately 1:6

Clinical Duties: Rounding and admissions

Work Solo: Yes

👥 Patient Volume

Patient Population: Adults

Average Census: 14–16 patients per day

🔧 Required Skills & Procedures

Cardioversions

Transesophageal Echocardiograms (TEE)

Applicants must provide case logs demonstrating active cardiovascular disease clinical activity within the past 24 months, consistent with the requested privileges.

✅ Requirements

Licensure: Active Washington medical license (required)

DEA: Active and in hand

Certifications: BLS & ACLS (AHA or American Red Cross)
