Job description

Urgent Hospitalist coverage needed just outside of Richmond. **Great Commutable Location**

• April - Ongoing
• Monday through Friday 8am-5pm
• 2 Weeks to credential
• Board eligible with at least 2 years residency training in internal medicine, emergency medicine, family medicine; surgery with Board of Medicine & surgery
• Patient encounters 15-18
• Admissions vary – sometime 1 month and up to 3-5 a week
• 92 bed facility with a daily census of 60
• Medical director and one full time HP on during the day to assist with hospitalist duties
• **No procedures**
• **No codes**
• **No ICU**
• **No Call**
• No AP supervision
• Mental health patients whose psychiatric illness is stable and has medical problem
• Written dictation
• Paid travel, lodging
• VA licensed candidates only
