This community hospital is a well-established regional medical center serving the southern Vermont area, offering a collaborative multi-specialty environment with a strong referral network and supportive clinical staff. The facility operates with 61 total beds and partners with a local hospital to assist with ECHO and EKG reads, ensuring comprehensive cardiac care for its patient population.

Opportunity:
Physician - Cardiology - Non-Invasive

Job Details:

• Primarily outpatient, non-invasive cardiology role covering 3-5 days per week with no call obligations
• Coverage beginning October 2026 due to staff MD cardiologist retirement
• Average of 16 clinic patients per day with an adult patient population
• No inpatient admissions required
• Collaborate with 2 APRNs in a supportive clinical environment
• Perform and interpret Echocardiography and Electrocardiograms (EKGs)
• Partners with a local hospital to assist with ECHO and EKG reads
• Documentation via Cerner EMR
• Facility is a Trauma Level IV designation with 61 total beds
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology required; if Board Eligible, date of graduation must be provided
• Active Vermont medical license required or willingness to obtain
• BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), CPR for Healthcare Providers, and DEA required prior to start
• Most recent NPDB Self Query Report within 30 days required at time of presentation - no exceptions
• Estimated credentialing timeframe of approximately 2 months, with potential to expedite
• Travel reimbursement available including flight, hotel, rental car, and mileage billed at the IRS standard rate
