Location: Roseburg, Oregon

Facility: Medical Center, home to Shaw Heart & Vascular Care, providing comprehensive cardiovascular services to southern Oregon with a collaborative team of cardiologists and advanced practice providers.

Opportunity: Interventional Cardiologist needed for ongoing locum tenens coverage with immediate availability. Coverage consists of 24-hour STEMI and call coverage from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Join an established cardiovascular team of three general cardiologists, two interventional cardiologists, and one nurse practitioner, supported by fully staffed clinic personnel and hospitalist services for admissions. Physicians can expect approximately 14–16 clinic patients daily, 2–6 coronary angiograms per day, and management of STEMI cases, PCI procedures, diagnostic catheterizations, right and left heart catheterizations, and echocardiogram and stress test interpretation. Temporary privileges and emergency credentialing are available for physicians with an active Oregon license and a clean malpractice history.

Compensation: Premium locum tenens compensation with competitive daily call and callback rates, orientation pay, and travel accommodations provided. Malpractice coverage must be included in the rate. Flexible coverage dates are available beginning in July with additional opportunities throughout August and September.
