Non-Invasive Cardiology Locums in Canton, OH | Inpatient Rounding | Epic | IMLC Accepted

Job description

Start: October 5, 2026 (or as soon as credentialed)
Length: 13 weeks (open to extension)
Coverage: Inpatient general cardiology - hospital rounding, new consults, and follow-up on in-house patients
Schedule: Mon-Fri, 8:00-17:00 (5x8s template); day, night, and weekend shift times
Call: Approximately 1 weeknight of call plus weekend call coverage
Volume: Varies with hospital census; this is a busy service
Practice Setting: Acute care hospital, inpatient cardiac service
Procedures: None required (non-invasive general cardiology, not interventional)

Daily hospital rounding for general cardiology coverage
New cardiology consults and follow-up on in-house patients
EKG interpretation as needed
Timely documentation in Epic
Inpatient support from 3-4 APPs and one additional general cardiologist

Requirements
Board Certified in Cardiovascular Medicine
Ohio license and DEA required (IMLC accepted)
Comfortable managing a busy inpatient consult and rounding service

8:00-17:00 weekday hospital coverage
Approximately 1 weeknight call
Weekend call coverage included
