Cardiology Physician – Greensboro, NC | Flexible In-House 2nd Call Coverage

Job description

A regional medical center in Greensboro, North Carolina, is seeking a Board-Certified Cardiologist for flexible night and weekend coverage within its adult Cardiology department.

Highlights:

• 6–12 month contract options
• Minimum one week and one weekend per month
• Nonconsecutive shifts accepted
• In-house nights and weekends as second call
• Adult consults and E&M services only
• No procedures required
• EPIC EMR
• Read inpatient echo and nuclear studies

Schedule:

• Monday–Thursday: 8 p.m.–6 a.m.
• Friday: 8 p.m.–7 a.m.
• Saturday: 5 p.m.–7 a.m.
• Sunday: 5 p.m.–6 a.m.

Responsibilities:

• Provide adult Cardiology consults upon request
• Perform E&M services
• Read inpatient echocardiograms and nuclear studies
• Maintain a manual log of all charges

Requirements:

• Board Certified in Cardiology
• Active North Carolina license
• DEA
• ACLS and BLS
• 1–2 years of experience preferred

Greensboro, North Carolina, located in the Piedmont Triad region.
