Assignment Length: 6–9 months

Overview

Aya Locums is seeking a Board-Certified General Cardiologist for a long-term outpatient practice in northern New York. This opportunity offers a predominantly clinic-based schedule with stress lab responsibilities and occasional inpatient consult coverage.

Schedule
Monday–Friday
8:00 AM–4:00 PM
Full-time (4 weeks/month) highly preferred
Will consider two providers alternating:
Two weeks on / Two weeks off
Practice Details
Solo cardiology practice
Outpatient clinic approximately 3 days/week
Stress lab supervision approximately 1 day/week
Inpatient consults as needed
Hospital consult service rotation as needed
Limited after-hours call coverage (4:00 PM–8:00 AM) to fill occasional gaps
Responsibilities
General outpatient cardiology
Supervise cardiac stress testing
Inpatient consultations
Cardiac imaging interpretation
Nuclear stress test interpretation preferred (not required)
Requirements
Board Certified in Cardiology
Board Certified to read cardiac imaging studies
Nuclear stress test interpretation preferred
Five or more years of experience preferred
