🩺 General Cardiologist (Locum Tenens)

📍 Location: New York (Floating Between Two Facilities)
⏰ Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
🗓️ Assignment Length: 6–9 Months | ASAP Start (Credentialing Required)

⚡ THE HIGHLIGHTS:
Solo General Cardiology practice with outpatient focus.
Approximately 3 clinic days per week.
1 day per week supervising cardiac stress tests.
Opportunity to assist with inpatient consults and stress lab coverage.
Flexible coverage model: 4 weeks/month preferred or 2 weeks on/2 weeks off with another locum.
Epic EMR.
📋 CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide comprehensive outpatient General Cardiology care.
Supervise cardiac stress testing.
Perform inpatient cardiology consultations as needed.
Participate in hospital consult service rotation.
Read the nuclear portion of stress tests (preferred, not required).
Collaborate with the cardiology team across two practice locations.
🛑 SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS (Strict Compliance):
Board Certified in Cardiology – Required.
Board Certified to interpret cardiac imaging studies preferred (including Nuclear Stress Tests; nuclear reading is preferred but not required).
Active New York Medical License – Required.
Epic EMR experience – Required.
AHA or RQI Certifications – Required.
5+ years of Cardiology experience – Preferred.
Current CV with complete work history.
No employment gaps greater than 30 days.
Physician explanation required for any malpractice history (including dismissed cases).
