Physician - Cardiology
Job Details:
- Full-time noninvasive inpatient cardiology position following a 7-on/7-off schedule
- Provide consultative and follow-up care for patients with medium to high cardiac complexity admitted to the hospital
- Evaluate new consults, provide collaborative in-hospital rounding, and manage transitional care for patients with heart-related conditions
- Work closely with clinical faculty and referring physicians as part of a consultative cardiology inpatient service
- Partner with a team of Cardiology Advanced Practice Providers and sub-specialists including Advanced Heart Failure, Structural Heart, Interventional, Electrophysiology, and Cardiac Surgery
- Clinical, research, and teaching opportunities available with fellows and the clinical cardiology team
- Opportunity for a hybrid inpatient and outpatient position is also available

- Access to a Physician Leadership Institute, an intensive training program designed for physicians with an interest in leadership
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Medicine and Echocardiography required
- Connecticut medical license or eligibility required
- Proficiency in transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography required; nuclear cardiology certification preferred
