Opportunity:
Physician - Cardiology
Job Details:
- Intensivist with strong cardiac interest and experience, or a cardiologist with critical care experience and/or training sought to join a collegial Cardiac ICU team
- Care for patients with complex cardiovascular disease including pre- and postoperative care, heart transplant, and/or Ventricular Assist Devices (VAD)
- Manage acute mechanical circulatory support including ECMO cannulation, Impella, and intra-aortic balloon pumps, as well as cardiogenic shock
- Opportunities for involvement and leadership within the ECMO program based on experience
- Cannulation experience preferred but not required
- Perform chest tube placement, bronchoscopy, and emergent intubations
- Educational opportunities working with APPs, cardiology fellows, critical care fellows, residents, and interns
- Access to professional growth and development through a well-established Provider Leadership Development Institute
- Advanced Heart Failure Service is one of the largest in New England with one of the highest post-transplant survival rates in the nation
- BC/BE in Cardiology and/or Critical Care required
