Physician - Interventional Cardiology

Job Details:

• Locum Tenens coverage needed 5 days per month, Monday through Friday
• Must hold an active Arkansas medical license with clean malpractice and NPDB history
• Board certification required in Interventional Cardiology
• In-House and STEMI call coverage required
• In-house call response time within 1 hour
• Emergency/STEMI call response time within 30 minutes
• Average of 20-25 calls per 24-hour period
• Average of 15-20 patients seen per shift
• No patient admissions required unless STEMI; all admissions handled by hospitalist service
• No patient callbacks required
• ACLS, ATLS, and BLS certifications required
• Credentialing timeframe estimated at 60-90 days, with potential to expedite for the right candidate
