General Cardiologist - Flexible Outpatient Coverage in Alaska

Aya Locums is partnering with a hospital-affiliated cardiology clinic seeking a General Cardiologist for flexible outpatient coverage beginning in October 2026. The assignment is expected to continue for approximately six months.

The schedule is only 4 - 5 days per month, Monday - Friday from 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, making this a nice option for a cardiologist looking to add a smaller recurring block without taking on a full-time locum schedule.

This is entirely outpatient General Cardiology with no call, rounding, admissions, or procedural responsibilities. The average volume is approximately 14 - 16 adult and geriatric patients per day.

The cardiologist will practice independently in the clinic while having support from the broader medical staff, including family medicine, emergency medicine, hospitalist services, and multiple other specialties. The facility uses Epic and is looking for someone comfortable working efficiently in an outpatient setting.

An active Alaska medical license is currently required for presentation, along with BLS and recent clinical Cardiology experience supporting the requested privileges.
