This Level IV facility maintains the clinical infrastructure and established protocols necessary to support general cardiology coverage across inpatient and outpatient settings on an on-site basis. The facility utilizes EPIC EMR for patient documentation and care coordination. Clinical resources are in place to facilitate effective care delivery throughout the assignment period, with an average patient volume of 15 patients per day.

About the clinician's workday

Full-time general cardiology Nurse Practitioner coverage is required across inpatient and outpatient settings on a Monday through Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with no call obligations. Inpatient responsibilities include rounding, consults, consents, and discharges, as well as stress test supervision. Outpatient clinic duties encompass established patient visits, new patient visits, and stress test supervision. All clinical documentation is to be completed using the EPIC EMR system. Board certification in Cardiovascular Diseases and prescriptive authority are required for consideration.
