Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesiologist Opportunity – Tacoma, WA

Job description

Start: ASAP | Ongoing through 2027
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7a-5p
Call: Yes, beeper call, 30-minute response time, 1:2 call ratio
Scope: Pediatric and congenital cardiac surgery (pump and non-pump), cath/EP, cardiac CT/MRI, cardiac ECMO, plus daytime pediatric coverage when available
No OB, general pediatric call, adult call, or adult cases other than adult congenital cardiac
Patients: Ages 0-18 (neonatal not required but preferred)
8 ORs, about 1 case per shift
Anesthesia model: MD only
Eligibility: Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesia Fellowship plus Board Certified or Eligible in Pediatric Anesthesiology, or case-by-case review for substantial congenital cardiac experience
Recent peds/cardiac case logs required to present; no new grads
Requirements: ABLS, ACLS, BLS, PALS
EMR: Epic
Credentialing: 60-90 days
Pay: $450/hr + T&L
