Job description

Join Bon Secours St. Mary's Hospital for a short-term locums opportunity offering no call, a consistent weekday schedule, and a collaborative anesthesia care team. This is a great opportunity for providers looking for vacation coverage with a mix of general anesthesia cases.

Highlights:

Monday–Friday daytime schedule
No call required
8-hour shifts required (10-hour shifts preferred)
One-week assignment
Travel and lodging provided
MDs both supervise CRNAs and perform their own cases
MD to CRNA ratio of 1:4
30 anesthesia rooms
Collaborative hospital-based practice

Cases Include:

General
Bread & butter cases
Endoscopy
Orthopedics
OB
Neuro (including some spine)
Pediatrics (if comfortable)

Requirements:

Board Certified Anesthesiologist
Active Virginia medical license required
BLS, ACLS, and DEA required
Minimum of 2 years of experience
Epic experience required
