Job Title: Anesthesiologist – Locum Tenens
Location: York, PA
Duration: Ongoing
Schedule:
4–5 ten‑hour shifts, Monday–Friday
Shift times vary by assignment (6:15 AM–4:45 PM, 6:30 AM–4:30 PM, or 7:00 AM–5:00 PM)
On-Call Requirements: No Call
Board Certification Required: Yes – Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology
Setting: Acute Care Hospital Float Pool
Patient Population: All Ages (Neonates through Geriatrics)
EMR: Epic
Support Staff: Multidisciplinary surgical and anesthesia care teams
Credentialing Timeframe: Approximately 90 days (expedited/temporary privileges may be available with approval)
Procedures Include:
General anesthesia (GETA) and MAC
Regional and spinal anesthesia
Ultrasound‑guided techniques
Trauma anesthesia
Neuro and spine cases
Cardiac and thoracic anesthesia
Vascular and Acute Pain Service (APS) cases
NORA locations
OB/GYN
General surgery, GI, pediatrics, plastics, orthopedics, and robotic procedures
