Anesthesiology Locum Needed in PA !

Job description

Shift Details:
• Shift Start Time: 6:30 AM
• Shift Length: 9 hours
• Additional Shifts: Occasionally, shifts may extend to 11 hours or include 24-hour call.
• Schedule:
• 24-hour call is supervisory, not hands-on.
• In-house call MD with a backup call MD.
• Average call include one delivery and three hours of cases after 7:00 PM.
• Call is optional

Work Details:
• Support Staff: 9 MDs onsite, primarily directing CRNAs. Hands-on work may be required.
• Coverage Needed: Approximately 20 shifts per month, around 40 hours/week (8-hour shifts, Monday - Friday).
• Patient Population: 90% adult, 10% pediatric.
• Department Details:
• EMR: Cerner
• Special Procedures: Basic ortho blocks, with potential for expansion.
• Skills Required: Cardiac experience preferred but not mandatory. General Anesthesiology with major adult subspecialties (General, Cardiac, OB, Neuro).

• Board Certification: BC/BE
• License: Yes
• DEA: Yes
• CSR: No
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS
• Experience: Minimum 1 year
