Locum Anesthesiologist Opportunity | Northampton, Massachusetts

Zeal Med is seeking a qualified Anesthesiologist for a locum tenens opportunity in Northampton, Massachusetts. This assignment offers a weekday schedule, independent clinical practice, and a varied case mix involving adult and healthy pediatric patients.

ASSIGNMENT OVERVIEW

Location: Northampton, MA

Start Date: January 4, 2027

End Date: August 6, 2027

Length of Assignment: Approximately seven months
SCHEDULE

Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM

Minimum commitment of three weeks per month
PRACTICE DETAILS

Independent practice without supervision

Assignment coverage may include operating room and endoscopy cases

Case mix includes general surgery, plastic surgery, orthopedics, urology, gynecology, endoscopy, and healthy pediatric cases

Adult and healthy pediatric patient population

Regional anesthesia skills strongly preferred

Must be comfortable performing various nerve blocks, including pediatric blocks

Endoscopy coverage requires comfort managing approximately 16–20 cases per day

Active Massachusetts medical license

Current BLS and ACLS certifications

ABA certification or eligibility
