Locum Anesthesiologist Opportunity in New Albany, IN

Zeal Med is seeking a board-certified Anesthesiologist for a locum tenens assignment in New Albany, IN. Six-month contract with an option to renew, starting ASAP.

Position Overview

Credentialing timeframe: 7 days for temporary privileges
Desired start: ASAP
Contract length: 6 months with option to renew
Schedule: 5 days/week, may include weekends. Hours vary with exit order. 6:30 am arrival, exits at 1p, 3p, or 6p. Typically 40 to 45 hours/week. No nights, no holidays, no call. Will take PRN coverage.
Weekends: 1:5 Saturdays, typically 1 to 2 cases and out by 1p
Supervision model
Case mix: endoscopy (35%), urology (25%), ortho/spine/podiatry (25%), gyn/general (10%), eyes/ENT (5%)
Nerve blocks: must be extremely proficient
EMR: paper
Licensure: practice currently accepts IN or KY license

About the Facility

Providers per day: 4 MD, 9 CRNA/CAA
6 operating rooms, 3 endo suites
Volume: approximately 650 OR cases and 1,000 endo cases per month
