About the clinician's workday
Privileging takes approximately 60 days. Shifts are 8 hours with regular hours required, and in-house call is preferred. Cases include General, OB, and Ortho, with no board certification or fellowship required, and candidates needing a state license are not accepted. The hospital uses the iPro charting system and has 8 anesthesia rooms. MDs do their own cases and do not supervise CRNAs. Overtime is not expected but offered.
