Job description

A hospital in the West Palm Beach metro area (Jupiter, Florida) is seeking a Board-Certified Cardiac Anesthesiologist (MD/DO) for an ongoing assignment beginning as soon as credentialed. This is a full-time opportunity within a collaborative care team model.

Assignment Overview
Start: As soon as credentialed
Length: Ongoing
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM (5x10s)
Call: 1 weekend beeper call per month
Must be able to work every week of the month
Required upcoming coverage: One week 7/20–7/24 plus either 7/18–7/19 or 7/25–7/26 weekend call

Practice Setting
Mix of supervision and independent practice
Care Team Model: 12 MDs / 26 CRNAs
Approximately 25–30 cardiac cases per month requiring TEE
OB deliveries: Approximately 200 per month
No trauma
Cardiac & Specialty Case Mix
Cardiac (Primary Focus):
CABG
Valve replacements
Aortic surgery
Advanced EP ablations
Watchman procedures
Must be TEE capable

Additional Cases:
General Surgery
Orthopedics
GI
Robotics
OB (C-sections required; epidural skills helpful but not required)
Radiology
Endoscopy
Ophthalmology
Plastics
ENT
Neuro

Requirements
Board Certified in Anesthesiology
Active Florida Medical License (required)
ACLS, BLS, PALS
TEE proficiency required
Must have full-time open availability
