Aya Locums is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Anesthesiologist for a locum opportunity in Connecticut. This assignment offers a diverse case mix, collaborative practice environment, and licensing assistance for qualified candidates. Providers willing to take call are strongly preferred.

Assignment Highlights

-Call coverage is a plus and highly preferred
-Overtime expected

Practice Details
-Collaborative team consisting of 4 Anesthesiologists and 3 CRNAs
-Supervision ratio of 1:3 to 1:4
-Five anesthesia rooms
-EMR: iPro with paper charting
-Case Mix: General surgery, Orthopedics, Obstetrics, Colorectal surgery, Cataracts, Cystoscopy, ENT, Gynecology, Podiatry, Thoracic surgery, Gastroenterology, Pacemaker procedures, Transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE), Cardioversions

Requirements
-Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology
-Connecticut medical license or willingness to obtain one

Credentialing
-Providers with an active Connecticut license: 30–60 days
-Providers requiring a Connecticut license: 60–120 days
