MDs provide supervision while CRNAs manage individual cases without MDs performing their own procedures.

About the clinician's workday

The CRNA will provide comprehensive anesthesia services during 10-hour day shifts with flexible scheduling based on surgical volume. Responsibilities include pre-anesthesia assessment, obtaining patient consent, discussing anesthetic options and risks with patients, and managing induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia. The clinician will monitor patient physiological conditions and perform clinical interventions as needed under MD supervision. The position requires board certification and prescriptive authority.
