Job description

Aya Locums is seeking an experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a locum tenens opportunity in Sumter, South Carolina. This assignment offers a 4-day work week, 10-hour day shifts, no call or weekends, and a bread-and-butter anesthesia case mix without cardiac, neuro, or OB cases.

SCHEDULE

- Start Date: December 21, 2026
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Monday–Friday scheduling
- 4x10-hour shifts per week
- Shift Hours: Approximately 7:00 AM–5:00 PM
- No call
- No weekends

PRACTICE SETTING

- Acute Care Hospital
- Bread-and-butter anesthesia practice
- Pediatric through adult patient population
- Approximately 15–30 patients per day
- EPIC EMR

CASE MIX

- General bread-and-butter anesthesia
- Pediatric anesthesia
- Adult anesthesia
- No cardiac cases
- No neurosurgery cases
- No OB cases
- Must be comfortable providing pediatric anesthesia

REQUIREMENTS

- NBCRNA certification required
- Active South Carolina CRNA license required
- Minimum 2 years of CRNA experience
- Pediatric anesthesia experience required
- EPIC experience required
- Licensing candidates cannot be considered
- Flu, MMR, and Varicella vaccinations required; waivers accepted
