CRNA Opportunity – High-Acuity Cases | Flexible Schedule | Collaborative Team
Job description
A well-established hospital system is seeking Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists for locum tenens coverage. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic, team-oriented environment with exposure to a wide variety of complex cases.
Position Overview
Start Date: May 2026 (upon credentialing)
Assignment Length: Ongoing (based on approval)
Schedule: 4–5 shifts per week
Shift Options: Primarily 10-hour day shifts with occasional overnight/weekend coverage needs
No call required
Practice Setting
Hospital-based practice
Medically directed model (typically 1:3, up to 1:4)
Collaborative care team including anesthesiologists, surgeons, and specialists
High-acuity environment with diverse patient population (all ages)
Case Mix & Responsibilities:
CRNAs will have the opportunity to work across a broad range of specialties, including:
Trauma
Cardiac, thoracic, and vascular
Neuro and spine
OB/GYN
Pediatrics
Orthopedics
GI and general surgery
Robotics and non-operating room anesthesia (NORA)
Procedural Skills Required:
General anesthesia (GETA)
Monitored anesthesia care (MAC)
Regional, spinal, and ultrasound-guided techniques
Epidural placement (independent)
Note: CRNAs do not perform nerve blocks.

Technology & Facility:
Electronic Medical Record: Epic
Large, full-service hospital with a broad surgical volume and advanced capabilities
Requirements:
Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) certification
Active state license or willingness to obtain
ACLS and PALS certifications required
Minimum of 2 years of experience preferred
Credentialing:
Standard credentialing timeframe: approximately 90 days
Expedited privileges may be available for qualified candidates
