Locum CRNA Opportunity in Jacksonville, NC

Zeal Med is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist for a locum tenens assignment in Jacksonville, NC, starting 08/31/2026. Thirteen-week assignment with an ongoing need and the ability to extend to 3 to 6 months.

Position Overview

Location: Jacksonville, NC
Provider type: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
Start date: 08/31/2026
Length: 13 weeks, ongoing need with ability to extend to 3 to 6 months
Schedule: Mon-Fri, 5 days/week, guaranteed 8-hour days. Flexible 7:00 start, arrival 6:45, procedures begin 7:00 to 7:30, typical finish 1400 to 1530 depending on the day.
Procedures: GI sedation and general anesthesia for gastroenterology procedures (EGD, colonoscopy, and similar) and non-surgical weight loss procedures requiring anesthesia, including gastric sleeves
Patient volume: Up to 17 to 24 patients per day, depending on physician
Team: Collaborative physician on site, with 2 to 3 RNs and an LPN as backup per location, plus 1 to 2 MAs in the room

Practice Notes

Office-based/ASC setting focused on gastroenterology and non-surgical weight loss, fast-paced
EMR: gGastro (GMED)
Patient population generally 16 to 80 years old (patients under 16 are rare)
Opportunity to float to a second location in Kinston, NC, about 45 minutes away
