A call room is available, though many providers opt to stay in a local hotel if they are not nearby. Physicians handle first call cases, typically coming in every other call shift, while CRNAs cover OB call and average one call every three shifts. The role includes a variety of cases, and experience with cardiac procedures is a valued bonus.
