Job description

Aya Locums is seeking a full-time CRNA for a 6-month assignment at a well-established hospital. This is a supervision-based anesthesia role with a wide variety of cases and a consistent need for coverage.

Assignment Overview:
-Contract Length: 6 months
-Schedule: 40 hours per week (varied shifts including 8s, 10s, and 12s)
-Additional coverage includes one 24-hour shift and one 16-hour shift per week
-No block scheduling – must be flexible week to week
-Schedules released in 6-week increments
-Required to work the Christmas holiday

Practice Details:
-Setting: Hospital
-EMR: EPIC
-Patient Population: Primarily age 12+

Case Mix & Skills:
-Cases include: General surgery, GYN, ortho, spine, cranial, plastics, thoracic, GI, structural heart, electrophysiology, interventional radiology, MRI, endoscopy, and healthy pediatrics
-Must be comfortable with Level II trauma cases
-Supervision model – CRNAs do not perform regional blocks independently
-Will perform spinal anesthesia; occasional arterial lines (not required)
-No epidurals or central lines required

Requirements:
-Board Certified (required)
-Active license or willingness to obtain
-DEA and CSR required
-Minimum 1 year of experience preferred (will consider 6 months minimum)

Credentialing Timeline:
30–45 days for licensed providers
90–120 days if license is pending
