This medical center is part of a well-established healthcare network serving the greater Kitsap Peninsula region of Washington State. The facility operates a fully supported outpatient clinic setting with a dedicated support staff including medical assistants, registered nurses, and echo technicians, utilizing EPIC as its electronic medical records system.

Opportunity:
Board Certified - Cardiology

Job Details:

• Provide locum General Cardiology coverage in an outpatient clinic setting
• Schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, working 2-3 weeks per month
• Provider may also be required to work at a Port Townsend location, likely on Mondays, pending cross-credentialing approval
• Primary responsibilities include seeing new consults, follow-up patients, and transfer of care patients
• All patient encounters must be closed within 24 hours
• Result ECGs ordered for patient care
• May be asked to result Zio monitors ordered by other providers when a backlog exists
• May serve as supervising physician for nursing visits and stress tests, including sign-off on nursing documentation
• No expectation for echo or stress test interpretations
• Duration of assignment is 3+ months
• Active Washington State license highly preferred; IMLC with Letter of Qualification in hand required
• Board Certification required
• DEA, ACLS, and BLS certifications required
• Clean malpractice history highly preferred
• Credentialing timeframe up to 90 days
