Primary Care NP/PA Needed in Wausau , WI:
Start Date: December 7, 2026
Contract: 3 months with potential to extend
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8 AM–4 PM (occasionally until 5 PM)
No call, weekends, or holidays specified
Approximately 10 or fewer patients per day
Minimum 30-minute appointments
Low-volume, patient-focused practice — not productivity-driven
Employer-sponsored primary care clinic
Collaborative team with a lead physician and other APPs
Local candidates preferred; travelers considered
Clinical Responsibilities:
Comprehensive primary care for patients from birth through age 64
Acute illness and injury management
Chronic disease management and wellness visits
Diagnostics, prescribing, and routine procedures
Preventive care and patient education
Requirements:
Board certification required
Minimum 2 years of primary care experience
Active Wisconsin license preferred; licensing candidates considered
DEA required
Women's health and urgent care experience preferred, not required
Comfortable providing full-spectrum primary care across age groups
