Physician - Surgery - Vascular

Job Details:

• Vascular Surgery locum tenens opportunity beginning December 1, 2026 on an ongoing basis, pending credentialing completion
• Primary function of this role is Level 1 Trauma coverage
• Schedule includes 24-hour pager coverage, inpatient rounding, and consults
• Call coverage required; beeper call with preferred stretches of coverage
• Anticipated call back frequency of 1-2 times per week
• Practice setting is primarily inpatient/hospital-based (95%+ inpatient)
• Average patient volume includes 1-2 consults per week, 1-2 urgent/emergent cases per week, and 3-5 total cases per week
• Patient population is 100% adult/geriatric
• Must have relevant experience for emergent surgeries, including vascular injury from penetrating trauma and ruptured aortic aneurysm repair
• Minimum of two years of clinical practice experience required
• Board Certified or Board Eligible within 5 years of residency required
• Fellowship required
• EMR platform is Epic
• Estimated credentialing timeframe is 60 days for clean files
