Locum Primary Care Physician (FM/IM) Needed in Wisconsin | No Call | 26 Weeks | Epic

Job description

Start: October 5, 2026 (or as soon as credentialed)
Length: 26 weeks
Coverage: Outpatient primary care clinic, 4-5 days per week
Schedule: 8:30-16:30 or 9:00-17:00 (flexible); Monday-Thursday or Monday-Friday accepted
Call: No after-hours call; participation in "Doctor of the Day" coverage addressing business-hours patient calls triaged by nursing
Volume: 18-22 patients per day
Practice Setting: Outpatient primary care clinic
Procedures: Standard primary care clinic procedures; an on-site residency clinic absorbs most procedural work
Support Staff: 1:1 ratio with clinical MA, LPN, or RN

Full-scope outpatient primary care for all ages; provider may be accommodated seeing 18+ only
Heavy geriatric population with a strong mix of mid-to-young adults
High comorbidity burden - significant diabetes, heart disease, and chronic disease management
Timely documentation in Epic

Requirements
Board Certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine (MD/DO)
Wisconsin license required - IMLC/compact accepted
BLS required; ACLS preferred
COVID-19 vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
Online EMR modules/pre-employment training to be completed prior to first day

Travel is billable - airfare, hotel/lodging, rental car, and mileage
