Oregon Gastroenterology Locums - ERCP, Strong Call Pay & Licensing Assistance

Aya Locums is working with an Oregon client seeking Gastroenterologists for an inpatient locum assignment with a strong procedural and call component.

Each coverage day is structured around a 12-hour day shift from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM followed by overnight call from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Callback is compensated separately when the physician is required to return for patient care.

The clinical work includes adult inpatient Gastroenterology, rounding, new consults and procedures. Current volume is approximately 14 patients per day. ERCP capability is the primary need, although the client may also consider a strong general Gastroenterologist who does not perform ERCP.

The physician will have access to specialty consultants, GI colleagues and dedicated inpatient GI APP support. Epic experience is required.

Board Certification in Gastroenterology, ACLS and at least two years of experience are requested. An active Oregon license is preferred for a faster start, but it is not required upfront - the client is open to licensing the right physician.

The combination of scheduled shifts, overnight call and separately compensated callback creates strong earning potential for a physician interested in maximizing their locums income.
