Trauma Surgeon needed for coverage in AZ
12hr shifts
Contract is 6-12 months
Must be board certified in Trauma/Surgical Critical Care
Minimum 2 years Trauma experience required
AZ license
Scope of responsibilities:
- Acute care surgery encompassing trauma, surgical critical care, and emergency general surgery (EGS coverage as needed during EGS-designated weeks)
- Physician would serve as both primary trauma surgeon and backup surgeon
- PA support is available on all shifts
- Program handles approximately 3,500 trauma activations per year.
