Locum OBGYN Opportunity – Pennsylvania | 24-Hour In-House Call

Position Overview:
We’re looking for a strong, independent OBGYN to step into a high-impact locum roleThis is a great opportunity for physicians who enjoy being hands-on and leading care in a supportive hospital setting.

You’ll be the primary provider while on-site, backed by experienced midwives and access to MFM support when needed.

Schedule & Coverage:
Start Date: May 10 or as soon as credentialed
Ongoing assignment
24-hour in-house call shifts (7:30 AM – 7:30 AM)
Max 48 consecutive hours in-house
~10 shifts per month

Practice Details:
~700 deliveries annually
163-bed hospital
Support staff: 2 midwives + MFM available
EMR: EPIC
Sleeping room provided on-site
Procedures: C-sections, VBACs, high-risk deliveries
NICU: Newborn nursery (no NICU)

Closest Airport: Harrisburg International Airport (MDT) – ~30 minutes from the hospital
Easy access to Philadelphia (~1.5 hours) and Baltimore (~1.5 hours)
Quiet, low-traffic area with quick commutes and affordable housing options

Requirements:
BC/BE in OBGYN
Active Pennsylvania license or active IMLC LOQ
DEA required
Minimum 1 year experience

Credentialing:
~90 days
Temporary privileges available for clean files
