Arizona Locum Tenens Primary Care Nurse Practitioner

Job description

We are seeking a Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner to provide exceptional primary healthcare services to patients and families in a hospital-owned clinic setting. This role emphasizes health maintenance, disease prevention, patient education, and counseling, working under the direct supervision of a physician and adhering to established guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver comprehensive primary care with a focus on health maintenance, disease prevention, and patient counseling.
Manage patient schedules efficiently, seeing:
Established patients every 15 minutes.
New patients every 20-30 minutes.
Adapt to schedule changes as necessary to address urgent care needs and maintain quality patient care.
Provide follow-up care, including consults, lab orders, refill requests, and documentation, during dedicated end-of-day time.
Collaborate with the care team to ensure excellent patient outcomes.
Schedule & Work Environment:

3-month contract with potential for extensions.
4x10 schedule with consistent daily hours.
Flexibility to work at other hospital-owned clinics or the main hospital if needed.
Potential for urgent care appointments to be added as necessary.
Requirements:

Board Certification as a Nurse Practitioner.
Arizona State License (required).
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment.
